The Los Angeles Arboretum is huge, and a great location for outdoor painting. I’ve only seen part of it, even after three visits. Maybe because I get sidetracked by whatever I want to paint and go no further! This was painted onsite, on one of those picture perfect summer mornings. I put the GPS coordinates of where I was standing on the back of the painting.
