Painted on-site at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. I had visitors while I painted: first, a group of three ducks quietly quacked their way over, I’m sure to investigate whether or not I had any spare food. I did not. But they settled in for a nap and grooming session anyway. Then I heard a little scuffle in the tree behind me, and turned around to be eye to eye with a curious squirrel. Again, I’m afraid I disappointed it with my lack of sustenance. Lesson learned....always bring treats for the locals.
